Description

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

· 1. Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.

· 2. Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to guests.

· 3. Assist guests by providing information and resolving their complaints.

· 4. Establish or identify prices of goods, services, or admission; and tabulate bills  

using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners.

· 5. Greet guests entering establishments.

· 6. Provide information on company procedures or policies.

· 7. Process merchandise returns and exchanges.

· 9. Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas, and complete other general cleaning 

duties, such as mopping floors, emptying trash cans, filling candy/gum racks, 

cleaning restrooms, cleaning shelves, etc.

· 10. Provide exceptional service to each and every guest, in a positive manner.

· 11. Assist stock crew in loading and unloading pallets and taking merchandise out 

onto the sales floor.

· 12. Following direction of immediate supervisor in putting stock onto the shelves, 

following proper rotation procedures, and facing the product as directed.

· 13. Any and all other jobs asked to be done by your supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

· Must be able to life and/or carry up to 50 lbs. 

· Must be able to push up to 50 lbs.

· Must be able to bend, squat, climb and lift objects overhead

· Must be able to tolerate temperature differentials

· Must be able to work nights, holidays and weekends

· May be asked to submit to a drug/alcohol test and/or background screen

QUALIFICATIONS

· Outgoing with good communication skills

· A self-starter and a team player

· Has the ability to create an exciting, warm, fun and friendly shopping area

· Strong attention to detail

· Works with a sense of urgency
