Shuttle Driver | Part Time

Logan Health is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Part-Time Driver to support our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) team. This role is essential to helping patients get to and from medical appointments safely and on time.
It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, helping others, and prefers a steady weekday schedule—no evenings or weekends required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport patients to and from healthcare appointments in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
• Assist patients in and out of vehicles, especially those with limited mobility or using assistive devices such as wheelchairs or walkers.
• Maintain accurate records of transport activity including mileage logs and patient details, following company procedures.
• Conduct routine safety checks on assigned vehicle and report maintenance or cleanliness issues as needed.
• Communicate with dispatch or coordinators regarding route updates, schedule changes, or any concerns during transport.
• Deliver a high level of customer service with patience, professionalism, and a respectful attitude.
• Adhere to HIPAA and organizational confidentiality policies.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Prior experience in transportation, healthcare support, or customer service is a plus.
• Ability to assist patients safely, including lifting up to 50 lbs when needed.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, caring demeanor.
• Familiarity with local area roads and basic navigation tools (GPS) preferred.

Shift:

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule & Work Environment:

• Part-time schedule, Monday through Friday

• Daytime hours only

• No evenings or weekends

• Work is performed primarily in a vehicle, with frequent stops and physical activity.
