As a Shop Foreman with an Administrative Focus, you are a valued member of our team, performing:

  • Constant and accurate communications with Service Writers and the Lead Uptime Technician.
  • Assists the Lead Uptime Technician whenever necessary to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Minimizes customer wait time on new truck arrivals.
  • Make estimates for both Uptime & Main shop
  • Help with warranty determination
  • Work flow cases to parts and advisors to keep the cases moving
  • Help Foreman inputting status notes in ASIST
  • Back up the Repair Focused Foreman as needed.
  • Final repair order review including
    • Repair stories
    • Repair times are flat rated
    • Operations toggled correctly Warranty vs Customer pay
    • Warranty Documentation eService Case#, CBR #, Fault codes attached
    • Warranty parts & Cores are turned in
    • Ensure Sublet Invoices are attached to the ASIST case
    • Final Invoice matches the estimate
  • Work flow case to advisor
  • Provide backup to advisors when needed
  • Provides technical support to technicians and management.
  • Follows Customer Contact and Communication Policy.

Preferred Candidates have the following:

  • Minimum seven years heavy duty truck mechanical experience
  • Three to five years of supervisory experience
  • Verbal and written communication skills necessary for communicating with customers, management, employees and vendors
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to understand financial information as it pertains to dealership operations
  • High School Diploma - College or Technical training preferred but not mandatory
  • Valid CDL license
