What Will You Get To Do:

• Analyze shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records to determine shipping priorities
• Oversee the verification that shipped and received products are accurate, on time and in good condition
• Maintain business documents and drive performance around Safety, Quality, Delivery of Cost (SQDC)
• Develop and maintain carrier performance metrics
• Supervise material handler and all shipping & receiving personnel
• Collaborate with management across all shifts as well as across the organization to drive results for suppliers, and internal and external customers
• Work closely with the Safety Director and Quality Manager to implement and uphold safety and quality standards

What Will You Bring:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping/receiving
• 2 years of experience leading a team in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment
• Demonstrated experience with problem solving methodologies such as A3, 8D, 5 Whys, DMAIC etc.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Tech Savvy: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
