The Material Handler/Warehouse Worker 1 will be responsible for kitting of material, internal movements of inventory, stocking/restocking of material, and performing cycle counts. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions.

 

In this role you will:

· Move raw materials to the appropriate workstations throughout the plant

· With instruction, complete SAP (warehouse management system) transactions

· Complete specified functions of 6S responsibilities. Specifically, sort, set in order, shine, sustain, safety

· Put product away physically into location and in SAP

· Support inventory control by conducting weekly cycle counts and delegated inventory tasks

· Kit finished and semi-finished goods to specifications from orders utilizing a combination of packaging materials and instructions with a high degree of accuracy

· Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance

· Maintain a safe and clean work environment

· Work as a team

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Previous warehousing experience preferred

· Ability to lift and/or move up to 40lbs daily

· Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time

· Astute attention to detail

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment

· Ability to perform visual checks and handle material responsibly

· Ability to use a computer and learn basic data entry

· Dependability with flexibility to work over-time and weekends to support business needs
