ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Ship’s System – Hull, Mechanical & Electrical Analyst to join our team in Norfolk, VA. This position is 100% onsite.

This position will be overall responsible for the scoping, preparing, development, validation, implementation, and life cycle maintenance of Hull, Mechanical & Electrical equipment for Carrier readiness and modernization on US Navy Carrier, Nuclear (CVN) ships.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Participate in meetings/conferences to provide recommendations and insight concerning CVN HM&E readiness

  • Assist in providing recommendations for CVN policy and procedural changes incident to CVN HM&E readiness, outfitting incident to new construction, and new support programs associated with Naval shipboard support

  • Review the ship’s maintenance, modernization, and repairs for CNO availabilities and maintenance upkeeps

  • Assist Ship's Force in maintaining CVN Ships material readiness and identifying CNO maintenance availability work

  • Assist in collecting, reviewing, integrating, and analyzing historical and current maintenance information from aircraft carrier sources as required in order to develop statistical, graphical and text analysis of equipment reliability and maintenance trends

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technical related field

  • 10+ years experience in the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of various shipboard galley and laundry equipment

  • 10+ years of experience in the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of shipboard hangar bay divisional and deck edge doors

  • 10+ years of experience in shipboard aircraft elevators

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with technical coordination of the following installed or proposed HM&E ship systems including repairs, alterations, assessments, inspections and casualty reports: auxiliary machinery and support equipment (except ALRE, propulsion plant machinery and boilers), hull and piping systems and cargo/weapons elevator systems

  • Experience with briefing senior naval officers and civilians regarding shipboard systems and equipment status while providing a recommended course o
