Provider Contract Food Service is a locally grown company specializing in providing culinary and hospitality excellence to our clients for the past 18 years.

Our team is growing and we are looking to add to our Food Service Team in the position of SHIFT LEADER. This is an hourly leadership position at the onsite cafe at Shadow Mountain Community Church.

Summary

The Shift Leader provides supervisory support to the Food and Beverage Manager or other business leader.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Provides oversight of food service staff in nonspecific sites under supervision of Food and Beverage Manager.
• Ensures priorities for food service staff are adhered to during their shift.
• Assist with training of food service staff on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety, security, quality and cleanliness standards.
• Creating and ensuring superior guest experiences

Requirements

• 2 years of Supervisory experience in food service
• Ability to multitask in a high pressure environment.
• Good decision making skills.
• Extremely strong leadership skills, verbal and writtencommunication skills, listeningskills, ability to check for understanding after direction is given (follow up,) 
• Basic math skills, strong organization skills, ability to multitask, team builder, proven track record of increasing experience and responsibility.
