The Service Inventory and Logistics team within Extreme Networks is responsible for optimization of logistics networks, supply chain planning, execution of RMA orders, Repair 3Pl management and inventory movements. This is a global team with personnel located in multiple countries with a focus on planning excellence and customer service. Extreme Networks is currently going through a phased integration of acquired customer installed bases supported by a bigger supply network and integrated planning. With the focus on growth, Service Inventory Planning team is looking for a talented individual who is bringing in expertise and knowledge of fast response high product mix planning. Job Requirements: Services Inventory Planner is responsible for optimal stock positioning and supply planning of field replacement units (FRU) so that we can deliver it to customer to meet our service level agreement. Extreme products are critical in maintaining business continuity of our customers; many of our parts need 4-hour response time. Service Inventory Planner contributes in three areas of planning: (1) Demand Planning (2) Supply/vendor Planning (3) Supply Assurance while optimizing inventory investment and best in class customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:•Optimize the planning operations depending on phases of product life cycle•Work cross functionally to meet procurement and repair objectives•Perform regular review of network inventory stocking and policies•Maintain 98% same-day on time availability rates•Perform root cause and corrective actions on planning misses•Work with repair vendors to assure on time delivery of service parts •Ensure stock availability during NPI and beyond EOS•Compile reports, metrics and evaluate repair partner performance•Conduct regular meetings with repair suppliers and communicate priorities •Work closely with customer facing teams to address stock allocation issues•Support customer facing teams regarding queries, escalations and SLA gaps. •Monitor planning and performance trends through business reports Education, Experience and Skills Required: •Minimum of Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years related experience•Microsoft Excel – Strong Data management & manipulation skills•Experience in a Supply Chain Management environment•Strong Microsoft Office skills specifically in outlook, word and power point•Strong written, verbal and analytical skills•Highly motivated, self-directed worker and detail oriented •Team Player who acts with professionalism and integrity Desirable Qualifications: •BS in Operations Management, Business Administration or MBA in Operations •3+ years planning experience in electronics supply chain •Oracle ERP and Baxter Planning Tool Familiarity•American Production & Inventory Control Society (APICS) certification.
