ServiceNow Developer

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team. As a ServiceNow developer you must be able to take requirements, create a design and turn it into a finished working deliverable. You will work with technical teams to implement next generation security initiatives and security proof of concepts to improve IBM security posture and response.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Ability to take ownership of tickets (bugs, enhancement requests) and collaborate with stakeholders/internal customers to better understand requirements and meet success criteria.
• Expertise migrating SOC business processes and requirements to runbooks in ServiceNow.
• Thorough understanding of ITIL standards which are helpful in development and customization of ServiceNow Platform Applications.
• Extensive Experience in Applications using AJAX, JavaScript, JSON,and XML. In-Depth knowledge/Experience of Web 2.0, JavaScript, JQuery, W3C Standards.
• Excellent working knowledge and thorough exposure to compatibility issues with different versions of browsers like Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome.
• Strong debugging skills using Firebug, IE Tester, and Chrome Developer Tools.
• Knowledge in Unified Modeling Language (UML), Flow Chart, Class Diagrams, User Diagram, Activity and Sequence Diagrams.
• Strong knowledge in Agile Development, Scrum and Waterfall Methodologies.
• Expert in creating Templates, Mockups and Prototypes, Web Interfaces, Layouts and Flow of future pages Using Web Standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of ServiceNow ITSM or SIR management
• At least 3 years of experience in JavaScript
• At least 2 years of experience with XML and REST API integration
• Experience working with CSS background, Layouts, Positioning, Text, Border, Padding, Pseudo Classes, Elements and CSS behaviors in CSS.
• Experience in system analysis, design, workflow architecture, development, testing and maintenance of web based applications.
• Expertise in designing and configuring SIR and ITSM scoped applications using Javascript, AJAX and HTML in Service Now (custom script building, ACL management, MID server deployment, utilization of platform specific APIs and RESTful APIs).
• Hands on experience developing custom workflows and integrations with various technologies (QRadar, Remedy, Resilient, etc.).

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:

• Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)
• Experience integrating with ServiceNow
• Experience with Agile development/DevOps methodologies and tools
