JOB DESCRIPTION: This position will support the Pharmacy division in the Wake Market. Essential functions required of the position are as follows:
- Coordinates the preparation of monthly journal entries in conjunction with corporate accounting.
- Maintains monthly leadership reporting package.
- Fulfills the role of innovator, leader, and facilitator in areas of responsibility to ensure continuous quality improvement.
The Service Line Operational Analyst oversees administrative, operational, and business processes and special projects for an administrative department or service line. Position will analyze, identify, make recommendation, and implement solutions for operational, financial and/or business processes and/or programs. Position will take a leadership role in the enhancement, development, documentation, and communication of identified financial and clinical trends, variances, and anomalies.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, public administration, management or a related field and three years’ experience in healthcare, patient access, customer service, business or administrative position required; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Green Belt or other Six Sigma certification preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinate financial analysis and reporting, including business plans, financial statements, cost analysis, and more.
- Analyze results, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to enhance operations. Support process redesign.
- Recommend and implement policies, procedures, and strategies to streamline workflow and achieve organizational goals.
- Assist in preparing the department's annual budget.
- Develop and implement financial management systems, cost accounting systems, and policies. Analyze transactions for potential issues.
- Evaluate best practices and cost containment measures to improve patient care or administrative services while maintaining efficiency and generating revenue.
- Meet with management to understand and anticipate business needs and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with management to establish new programs, performance metrics, and goals aligned with organizational standards.
- Create expense monitoring tools and provide training to end users for reporting purposes.
- Manage assigned special projects as directed by management.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
