Acutronic is looking for a Service Engineer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for inspection, testing, integration, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of Acutronic products. Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a Field Service- or Customer Service- type of Team.

Service Engineer

Your Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Perform incoming inspections of vendor components
  • Inspect quality of Acutronic components and systems per approved procedures
  • Integrate the control console and rate table of one and two-axis systems
  • Conduct Factory Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP’s) to ensure satisfaction of customer specifications
  • Install and upgrade systems at customer facilities
  • Conduct Site Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP’s) to ensure satisfaction of customer specifications
  • Perform in-house and field service troubleshooting and repair of equipment as required
  • Answer customer support requests via phone or email

Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Associate in Specialized Technology or Associate of Science degree in electronics from an accredited college or technical trade school; equivalent military training will be considered
  • 2 years in the Systems and Services Team or equivalent experience required
  • Ability to travel 25%, possibly more at peak times, domestically; occasional international travel may be necessary
  • Valid Real ID driver’s license and a valid U.S. passport to be used for proof of citizenship when traveling to customer facilities
