Service Account Manager

Hillard Electric is an electrical contractor serving commercial and industrial customers in the Grand Rapids area since 2005. In 2023, Hillard partnered with Crete United to build a leading commercial/industrial electrical, Communications and Automation contracting company in Michigan. CMG is one of the largest and fastest growing providers of commercial mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) services in the United States. Partnering with Crete United, Hillard is positioning for significant growth and is seeking a Service Account Manager to join our dynamic team.

Job Type: Full time permanent position. M-F :700 AM -5:00PM

Location: Cedar Springs and surrounding counties.

Pay: $90,000k-$100,000K salary DOE + No out of pocket benefit expenses! 

Job Duties:

• Coordination of weekly projects and manpower
• Preparing job quotes and proposals
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing electrical service contractor clients.
• Understand and anticipate their needs, concerns, and preferences to offer tailored solutions.
• Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates on products, services, and promotions.
• Sales, in electrical, IR, Power monitoring, Transformer testing, PM, Automation.
• Actively seek out potential clients and conduct sales presentations and meetings.
• Collaborate with the sales team to create strategies for acquiring new accounts.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the management team.
• Promote and demonstrate the value of the company's offerings to electrical service contractors.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products and services.
• Conduct training sessions or webinars to educate clients on product features and usage.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
• Gather insights from clients to provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams.

Job Requirements:

• 10+years as a Journeyman electrician.
• Previous Electrical Service account manager experience.
• Willing to work overtime.
• Work hand in hand with Service Manager
• Be able to communicate efficiently with superiors and subordinates.
• Must be able to pass background / Drug screen.
