Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and promptly, providing a welcoming and professional experience from the moment they arrive

• Take food and beverage orders with accuracy and clarity

• Provide guests with knowledge about the menu, daily specials, and pairings

• Ensure all orders are delivered timely and meet Trumbull Kitchen’s quality standards

• Handle guest requests, concerns, or special occasions with professionalism and care

• Work with the kitchen to ensure dietary restrictions and special requests are met

• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, adhering to hygiene standards

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience

• Assist with maintaining and organizing the restaurant front-of-house area

• Ensure that all payment transactions are processed accurately and efficiently

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a server in a fine-dining or upscale-casual environment REQUIRED

• Knowledge of contemporary American cuisine and craft cocktails is a plus

• Familiarity with POS systems and order entry

• Ability to handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and guest concerns with professionalism and grace

• Strong multitasking abilities in a high-volume environment

• Excellent communication skills with a polished and engaging demeanor

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and presentation

• Ability to stay organized and efficient under pressure

• Friendly and approachable, with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences

• Knowledgeable about food, wine, and spirits to offer educated recommendations

• Ability to collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
