Server

The primary responsibility is to anticipate the needs of the resident and provide excellent service. You will serve meals, maintain the cleanliness of the dining room, assist with meal preparation and provide assistance to the remaining culinary staff as needed. Responsibilities also include clearing and cleaning all tables, and maintaining the cleanliness of all walkways.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver food and excellent service to residents.
• Maintain uniform to meet department standards and comply with dress code.
• Follow sequence of service.
• Pre-bus all sections assigned and assist fellow team members.
• Maintain a clean dining room, clean tables and chairs.
• Maintain a “clean as you go” policy.
• Report immediately to the Director of Culinary Services or Manager on duty, any illness of an infectious nature or accident incurred by a resident, colleague, self.
• Understand and ensure the implementation of the Community’s Safety policy, and Emergency and Fire procedures.
• Report to the Director of Culinary Services and/or Maintenance Director, any faulty appliances, damaged furniture, equipment or any potential hazard
• Promote and ensure the good reputation of the Community.
• Ensure all equipment is clean and well maintained.
• Carry out any other tasks that may be reasonably assigned to you.

• Current Food Handlers Card for the State of Arizona
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Proficiency in reading and writing English is required
• Proficiency in basic math skills required
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 to 75 pounds
• Care for the Elderly experience a plus
