Server Assistant: PT

Description

Position Purpose

To support wait staff in order to ensure an efficient dining experience for guests. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

· Clear tables of all glasses, cutlery, dishes and trash and prepare tables for new guests.

· Support Servers when needed to bring needed items to tables or refill drinks. 

· Respond tactfully to guest complaints. 

· Communicate all guest complaints or suggestions to the Front House Manager. 

· Maintain a clean and organized work area. 

· Become familiar with casino events and promotions in order to accurately inform dining guests. 

· Clear tables of used service items as needed. 

· Follow all alcohol sale and food safety ordinances and regulations. 

· Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. 

· Comply with tip reporting procedures and Title 31 requirements. 

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education/Qualifications 

• Must be at least 18 years old. 
• Requires food handler’s permit. 
• Requires liquor license. 

Licensing

· Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License

Work Requirements 

Shift: Wed-Sun

Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
