Position Overview:

The Server administrator will maintain 4 servers during core business hours, incidents, and maintenance windows. The Server Administrator will provide support for hours outside of that period to handle urgent issues or system problems as needed. This work will support the Air Force 19th Medical Group (part of the Defense Health Agency) to enable better medical care for our soldiers.

 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain servers
• Coordinate network administration and performance requirements
• Configuration management
• Install new software and system upgrades
• Perform system backup and recovery
• Support users in troubleshooting
• Run vulnerability reports and identify security issues

 

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Server Administration experience
• Ability to manage systems security
• Ability to manage network security
• Hardware, software, networking knowledge
• CompTIA Security+
• Must be U.S. Citizen
• Must have a public trust clearance
