Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Drive SEO strategy for internal teams by powering content, technical, and off-page projects, with the goal to increase traffic and revenue for multiple sites.
  • Drive site-specific goal setting and project planning. Design projects focused on priorities and targets, and monitor overall performance, while reporting regularly to leadership. 
  • Develop new strategies, tactics, and processes that grow KPIs or increase efficiencies of the entire SEO team and work with Content, Creative, Tech and others to do so. 
  • Oversee portfolio-level SEO Performance using BrightEdge, Search Console, Google Analytics, and Internal Dashboards and effectively communicate expert level analysis in meetings, slide decks, or reports.
  • Educate and train internal teams about SEO best practices and the latest trends 
  • Perform Competitive analysis in the ever-changing education and SEO space, report on findings, and make recommendations.

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree (in a business, data, or communications related field is a plus); Graduate degree a plus, but not required.
  • 7+ years SEO experience
  • Proven track record of scalable SEO tactics
  • Ability to teach/train others in SEO principles and tactics
  • Successful advocacy for organic search & inbound marketing in your last organization
  • Strong attention to detail, love of process-building, and desire to help grow a business unit.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders, at various levels of the organization, and their needs.
  • Ability to maintain a fun, casual, professional and productive team atmosphere.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguous concepts and distilling them into sound deliverables.
  • Enthusiasm and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is ($95,000 -$110,000), with potential bonus eligibility.  Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, budget for the position and cost of labor in the market in which the candidate will be hired.
