Senior UX + Service Designer

We are at the forefront of developing advanced humanoid robots designed for household use. Our mission is to create an abundant supply of labor via safe, intelligent humanoids. As we transition from R&D to full-scale manufacturing, we seek an experienced and motivated designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping us develop a user experience that delights our users. Collaborating closely with the broader development teams, you will play a vital role in everything from wireframing to deployment. The ideal candidate will have a background in digital user experience design, with extensive expertise and hands on experience in product development. We are looking for individuals with a proactive "get-things-done" attitude, who excel in both long-term strategic planning and day-to-day execution of practical tasks.

Responsibilities: 

As a Senior UX+ Service Designer, you will design and refine the end-to-end service experience for our advanced home robotics platform. You’ll ensure that every interaction, from physical touchpoints to remote operator workflows, integrates harmoniously to delight and empower users. This role demands a deep understanding of service ecosystems, interaction design, and UX principles, particularly in consumer tech environments.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including robotics engineers, product designers, software developers, and user researchers, to shape services that are intuitive, scalable, and future-ready.

Additionally, you will

• Help establish and evolve our methodology for creating exceptional user experiences across our platforms.

• Be proactive and hands-on through our journey of continuous improvement.

• Collaborate on the design and implementation of new features and improvements to user interfaces.

• Own our service blueprint and make sense of a huge product ecosystem with tons of cross-functional inter-dependencies.

Requirements

Must-Haves: 

• 5-7 years of proven professional service design with some UX design experience, ideally from in-house technology development.

• Demonstrated and documented knowledge of how to develop service blueprints, and journey maps that define clear, concise, and elegant consumer-grade user experiences.

• Technical proficiency in appropriate tools, to help research, map, plan, visualize, prototype and evaluate

• A clear interest in how people act and think.

• Strong analytical, verbal and written skills

Nice-To-Haves: 

• Experience in working on technology projects and with roboticists.

• Additional design skills, such as industrial, visual or motion graphics

• A degree in a design-adjacent field, such as engineering, psycho
