Your Role:
As a Senior UX Researcher, you will partner with Product, Design, Engineering, and Analytics from early discovery through post-launch optimization. You will lead complex, mixed-methods studies, mentor peers, and translate insights into strategic product direction. You'll own the research roadmap for your product area, aligning studies with business objectives and ensuring insights arrive when teams need them most. Your work will directly shape how thousands of scientists discover and purchase the products they need to advance their research.
Key Responsibilities
- Align research initiatives with business objectives and product OKRs
- Partner with product teams to define research questions that address real development risk
- Design and execute studies across the research spectrum, from foundational discovery to concept validation and design refinement
- Embed continuous-discovery practices by maintaining a research backlog that feeds iterative design cycles
- Synthesize findings into clear, actionable recommendations that product and design teams can act on immediately
- Build strong feedback loops between research and development cycles so insights arrive when decisions are being made
- Communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels—from tactical design critiques to executive summaries
- Contribute to research operations by helping refine processes, templates, and participant recruitment strategies
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional UX research experience (excluding academic work), with depth across both generative and evaluative methods
- Fluency in qualitative and quantitative approaches, with the strong ability to select the right method for each research question
- Demonstrated ability to translate research findings into product outcomes—not just deliverables
- Strong judgment about scoping research to match the question at hand and the decision timeline
- Experience working embedded with cross-functional product teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's degree in HCI, Psychology, Human Factors, or related field; Master's preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in e-commerce, B2B, or scientific/technical domains
- Background in life sciences, healthcare, or research procurement workflows
- Familiarity with behavioral analytics tools and how quantitative signals complement qualitative insights
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Fullstory or Google Analytics to triangulate behavioral data
- Experience mentoring junior researchers or contributing to research operations and practice development
- Conference speaking, published articles, or other thought leadership in the UX research space
Pay Range for this position: $110,900-$166,300
