Senior User Experience Researcher

 

Why We Have This Role

As a Senior UX Researcher at Qualtrics, you will drive the future of Qualtrics Experience Management products to deliver a best-in-class user experience that creates loyalty, value, and delight. This role will specifically focus on research related to building Qualtrics’ AI Experience Agents, our latest AI investment in the Agentic space. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to push the boundaries of what an enterprise product can be—exploring innovative solutions across platforms and shaping the product roadmap to drive real impact for our customers.

 

How You’ll Find Success

  • Apply Mixed-Methods Research Skills: Utilize advanced mixed-methods research techniques to gain deep insights into user experiences, key scenarios, and diverse customer needs.
  • Drive Product Vision: Leverage user and product insights to influence and shape the strategic vision for the next generation of Qualtrics products.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, designers, engineers, product marketing managers, and data scientists to ensure alignment and enhance product development.
  • Enhance User Experience: Focus on creating products that are not only elegant and user-friendly but also meet the strategic goals of the organization.
  • Embed Insights into Processes: Infuse qualitative and quantitative findings into the Qualtrics platform, translating customer and product insights into actionable strategies for continuous improvement.

 

How You’ll Grow

  • You own the development of research strategy and push the boundaries on existing methodologies to deliver new innovative processes for conducting UX research.  
  • Your strong research background in understanding human behavior and technology help you drive actionable insights that guide product decisions.
  • You inspire those around you to understand the customer and have a multiplier effect on creating enthusiasm for products and features.

 

Things You’ll Do

  • As the UX product insight expert you are the voice of the customer for user experience and product feedback.  You have a solid understanding of your users and understand their needs and our product gaps. You have a strong voice that guides the product team’s understanding of feature prioritization and UX improvements.
  • You are a part of the product team and you collaborate with researchers, designers, product managers and engineers to identify customer perceptions about Qualtrics and existing products, define key use scenarios and collaborate to develop new or improved product concepts.
  • You are a valued voice that influences decisions about what matters most for the platform and products in terms of user experience.
  • You are known as an exceptional research partner who gets the data that matters most and delivers actionable insights.
  • You are a strong communicator who feels comfortable interacting with senior leaders and can effectively influence decisions across organizations. 

 

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

  • Undergraduate and Master's degree in one of these disciplines: Psychology, Human-Centered Design, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or similar.
  • 5-8 years of industry research experience.
  • Exceptional and demonstrated end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • High standards of detail, excellence, professionalism and role model behavior.
