Purpose

AbbVie’s Talent Acquisition organization has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Sourcer to support the Business Technology Solutions organization within AbbVie.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing will be focused on AbbVie’s Business Technology Solutions (BTS) organization, supporting specialized areas such as data science, AI/ML, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise platforms, as well as other areas as assigned.  

• Identifies, engages, and attracts top technical talent and develops a strong, qualified candidate pool for current and future openings. 

• Builds and executes targeted sourcing strategies, manages talent mapping projects, and leverages advanced research tools, platforms, and professional networks to deliver qualified talent pipelines aligned with AbbVie’s technology roadmap.  

• Partners closely with BTS recruiters, hiring managers, and business leaders to ensure sourcing efforts align with critical workforce priorities, future skill needs, and AbbVie’s organizational goals. 

• Demonstrates the ability to proactively identify, engage, and nurture talent pools aligned to emerging technologies and digital transformation priorities.  

• Builds and maintains a continuous flow of prospective candidates through direct sourcing, market intelligence, and long-term relationship management.  

• Manages and maintains accurate data within SmartRecruiters (or similar ATS/CRM), track sourcing metrics, and report key insights and accomplishments.
