What you’ll do

Join an iconic brand that is redefining the pick-up truck and rugged SUV marketplace. As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading digital transformation in Aftersales and Parts Logistics, ensuring customers and service teams have seamless access to service, repair, and parts fulfillment tools. You will drive the strategy and development of mobile and desktop applications, empowering service teams, parts managers, and customers with intelligent, real-time digital solutions.

This is what you’ll do:

  • Define and Lead Strategy: Develop the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Aftersales and Parts Logistics platforms, optimizing inventory management, service repair workflows, and digital parts sales.
  • Digitize Parts & Service Operations: Drive the development of mobile and desktop applications that enhance service technician efficiency, streamline parts ordering, and optimize logistics to reduce vehicle downtime.
  • Optimize Parts Logistics: Lead solutions that enable real-time parts availability, predictive stocking, and seamless order fulfillment across distribution centers and service locations.
  • Enhance Customer Experience: Build self-service digital experiences that allow customers to track parts availability, schedule service, and manage post-purchase vehicle needs with ease.
  • Drive Service Efficiency: Develop digital workflows that improve service operations, enabling technicians, advisors, and parts managers to collaborate efficiently using intelligent, automated tools.
  • Integrate with Enterprise Systems: Partner with engineering and IT teams to integrate with ERP, inventory management, and repair order systems, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Leverage Data & AI: Utilize predictive analytics and AI-driven insights to enhance inventory forecasting, technician task management, and customer engagement.
  • Measure & Optimize Performance: Define KPIs and success metrics to track adoption, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, iterating to continuously improve digital solutions.

Location & Travel Expectations:

  • This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Fremont, California.
  • The responsibilities of this role will require attendance in office with some in-person meetings and events. 
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

  • Experience:
    • 6+ years of technical product management experience with a strong emphasis on Aftersales, Parts Logistics, or Service Operations.
    • Proven track record of delivering digital solutions for automotive service, parts management, or logistics workflows.
    • Experience with B2B and B2C service platforms, including dealer, fleet, or direct-to-consumer models.
