Applied Signal Technology: WHO WE ARE

This role is primarily On-Site, with flexibility at hiring manager discretion.

What You Will Do

  • You will work with other experienced members in R&D on system development and deployments for the protection of our country

  • You need excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work autonomously yet collaboratively in a team environment

  • You will generate briefings and present material to team members, customers, and RTX Management as necessary

  • You will be an integral part of a team that makes decisions and generates ideas that will push products above and beyond

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required ​

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance ​

  • 5+ years of experience with systems integration, test execution, and test results documentation

  • 5+ years of experience working with customers, end users, hardware design teams, and software design teams

  • 5+ years of experience with Linux

  • Ability to travel as needed (~25%)

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Active Top Secret or TS/SCI Clearance on Day 1 Preferred

  • Experience with telecommunication standards and processing techniques

  • Experience developing training courses and training others

  • Experience generating of test scripts to automate integration

  • Experience developing system level designs, high level control and data interfaces

  • Experience with scripting languages, such as Python or Bash

  • Experience with Ansible, Rocky/CentOS, and Kickstart

  • Experience formalizing, developing and writing requirements, plans, and procedures based on customer discussions, briefings, interactions, and statements of work

  • Experience recognizing areas of improvement or customer needs and relaying them to senior staff as business development possibilities
