Description of Task to be Performed:AnaVation is currently seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Systems Administrator-Virtualization to spearhead the planning and execution of virtualization projects, ensuring the seamless integration of systems to support organizational objectives.
The SSA- Virtualization will be instrumental in creating a comprehensive overview of products, services, and support equipment installations essential for mission operations. Responsibilities include planning, directing, and executing regular integrated system test programs on virtualization equipment. Additionally, the SSA-Virtualization will generate detailed reports and deliver impactful presentations. The SSA- Virtualization will also provide on-the-job training to customer and junior Contractor personnel, coordinate with other field engineers for enhanced customer benefits, and will support the unit with additional duties as assigned within the scope of work.
This position is on-site in Quantico, VA and requires a Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain an CI clearance with a polygraph.

Required Qualifications:
- Install, configure, implement, and validate installation of components on networks including but not limited to:
- Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops
- Citrix ADC (Netscaler)
- Microsoft (current Version) Failover Cluster
- Microsoft (current Version) Hyper-V Manager
- Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM)
- Hypervisors and virtualization sub-systems
- Infrastructure as Code methodologies
- Custom design solutions based on available technologies to deliver virtualization platforms to end users with defined groups and access controls.
- Administer a variety of virtualization environments including Windows, Citrix, and Linux.
- Author and utilize scripting languages, mainly but not limited to PowerShell, to automate tedious, repetitive, and/or error prone tasks related to installation, configuration, and management of IT systems and services.
- Step in mid-problem and provide advanced troubleshooting and support to others.
- Experience designing and implementing Cloud based solutions that provide remote access experiences.
- Experience with utilizing AD groups to control access to various resources.
- Education : 4 year college degree in system administration, information technology, computer science, computer engineering, or related field, and 5 years of experience designing, managing, administering, documenting, troubleshooting, and supporting multiple, heterogeneous computer networks in both production and development environments, or in lieu of education, 10 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Container Systems
