About the Team:

The Oracle Life Sciences GIU is seeking a highly motivated professional to join the Life Sciences Research Services team as a Senior Statistician within the Real-World Evidence Data and Analytics team.  We are on a journey to advance how research is performed using innovative technologies that impower patients, support clinicians and generate new learnings through unified data research and analysis. This team is chartered with leading data and statistical analysis efforts targeted to customers in the Federal and Commercial sphere of business. 

About the Role/Responsibilities:

As a member of the Life Sciences Research Services team, you are responsible for ensuring that a quality project is delivered in a timely manner, on budget and to our client’s satisfaction.  Your focus will be in the analytic services space, delivering statistical analysis outputs to the CDC to advance the research of HIV and support study principal investigators in progressing their publication concepts from early hypothesis to data supported journal acceptance and publication. You will complete your role largely independently within defined policies and procedures as part of a team of statistician and data science peers.

The Senior Statistician will interact with all levels of organization members and have responsibility for coordinating cross-functionally to ensure project success.  This role offers a wide exposure to all aspects of research and healthcare.  You will be responsible for providing and ensuring quality of work on customer engagements, having a broad understanding of analytic tools and methods, as well as industry best practices. 

As a member of a consulting delivery team, you are accountable for your work product and producing a positive financial impact to the team through maximum billable utilization.

Role Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency with longitudinal epidemiological and health services data analysis
  • Proven statistical expertise in cohort, cross-sectional, and case-control study designs
  • Proven expertise in a variety of techniques for regression modeling of repeated measures data, accounting for confounding and statistical interaction
  • Experience working with SAS - Statistical Analysis Software

 Education & Experience: 

  • Preferred 5 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
    • At least 3 years of Professional Services Statistical Analysis experience or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • HIV research experience preferred.
  • Healthcare industry knowledge preferred.
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized with sound decision making skills. 
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Strong presentation skills required using PowerPoint. 
  • Must embrace change and have a proven track record of successful process redesign.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to function as part of a team and adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $79,000 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
