What you’ll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Lead strategic IT Finance initiatives and provide visionary leadership in the design, development, and implementation of ERP Finance solutions
- Collaborate with business domain leads and Application vendors to understand requirements and technical capabilities to identify opportunities to leverage IT applications to improve business processes and drive efficiency
- This role focuses on aligning ERP Finance capabilities with enterprise-wide financial strategies, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and compliance
- Acting as a trusted advisor to solution teams and managers, the architect will bridge technical expertise and financial business priorities to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to the Finance IT Business Partner, offering insights on SAP Finance direction and proactive steps
- Collaborate with other Solution Architects and Application Vendors to ensure alignment across all financial systems and other enterprise systems
- Operate independently, identifying strategic finance-related initiatives and driving them to completion
- Lead critical SAP Finance projects such as S/4HANA implementation, and integrations with external financial systems
- Foster strong relationships between IT and Finance and Accounting departments, aligning technical solutions with financial goals
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies such as AI/ML and predictive analytics in financial operations
- Participate in architecture review boards and alliances as needed
- Formulate software and product roadmaps to ensure viability and business continuity for supported IT platforms
Location & Travel Expectations: #LI-Remote #LI-Hybrid
- This role will be based out of the future Scout Motors corporate headquarters, which is anticipated to be identified in 2025. This role may be remote to start but will transition to an in-office setting at the headquarters after the location is determined and you are expected to relocate at such time. This role is not eligible for remote work in New York City.
- The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- A minimum of 10 years of related experience is required
- Deep understanding of Finance Applications (FI, CO, Asset Accounting, Treasury, Tax, etc.) and ERP best practices
- Strong technical design skills and ability to translate financial requirements into scalable ERP solutions
- Proven ability to lead ERP Finance implementations and optimize financial processes
- Familiarity with financial data flows, compliance requirements, and API integrations
