Job Description:

The Data Analytics: DBIS team is looking for a DevOps consultant with experience in designing, developing, implementing, supporting and analyzing tooling and systems that support the end-to-end development process.

To be successful in this role, you will have worked through previous successful DevOps implementations that consolidate the processes of the software build, packaging and deployment automation, leveraging the current tools and processes.

The successful candidate will have strong technical and problem-solving skills, will show initiative and be accountable for results.

Core Responsibilities

• Experience in developing and adopting DevOps pipeline for On premise and Cloud projects/programs ( AWS )
• Own and contribute towards end-to-end agile DevOps based software development life cycle with end to end automation in mind (Tools & Processes) and responsible for defining policy, processes, standards, and procedures
• Automating build, release/deployment, manual processes and workflows
• Creates or improves the automated deployment processes, techniques, and tools
• Collaborate with architects, designers, business system analysts, application analysts, operation teams and testing specialists to deliver fully automated DevOps Pipeline ( CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure)
• Troubleshoots and resolves technical operational issues related to IT Infrastructure.

Mandatory Skills

• Minimum 5 - 8 years of progressive information technology experience with full application development life cycle and systems integration experience
• A strong DevOps background with a security and automation mindset for Designing and implementing end-to-end automation in CI/CD for enterprise product in cloud platform & On premise.
• Experience across entire SDLC, CI/CD tools, with configuration & release management, deployments, and troubleshooting in cloud environments
• Experience with Scripting languages such as Python ,ANT, Maven and MS Build, Gradle, Groovy and Shell
• Working knowledge of some of Java, J2EE, WebLogic, WebSphere, Eclipse, Microsoft .Net, Unix, Windows Server, IIS , Cloud formation Templates
• Strong understanding of source code version control systems, GitHub and code branching/merging strategies
• Experience with tools such as TFS, Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Dockers.
• Experience in using and configuring build tools and orchestration such as Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Artifactory,
• Knowledge of deployment (i.e. Ansible, Chef) and containerization (Docker) tooling IAAS/PAAS/SAAS deployment and operations experience
• Experience with tools such as Grafana, Broadcom is added advantage
• Experience with deploying Docker images in the Cloud is added advantage
