Senior Software Engineer, Data Engineering

🚀 About the RoleThis role will be centered around data, with a focus on a wide range of data-related tasks. You’ll play a key role in enabling new product features through updtes to our custom query layer, and work closely with the data team to build, extend, and monitor critical data pipelines. Additionally, you'll support our Data Scientists by addressing their data engineering needs and continuously seek opportunities for performance optimization across our data stack. You’ll be immersed in the world of data, bridging the gap between software development and data engineering to drive impactful results for our product and our platform.

🔧 Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to translate product requirements into technical specifications and help implement solutions that align with business objectives
• Design, implement, and optimize scalable and efficient data pipelines that can handle large volumes of data
• Continuously monitor and improve data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability
• Monitor data pipelines and systems for errors, bottlenecks, and failures, quickly diagnosing and resolving issues
• Ensure data systems are scalable, secure, and optimized for the organization’s needs, while maintaining flexibility for future growth
• Manage and optimize databases for performance, efficiency, and high availability

💡 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with SQL
• Demonstrated proficiency with data pipelines
• Proficient with Golang
• Google Cloud / Google Big Query knowledge
• Compensation: 160-175k base
