In this role, you'll lead the development of cutting-edge analytics products, collaborating closely with product leadership to craft strategies and roadmaps that drive growth.Dive into the heart of data innovation, designing ETL processes, maintaining pipelines, and leveraging statistical and machine learning algorithms for impactful data analysis and visualization. This role offers exposure to a spectrum of technologies—from relational databases like MySQL to Python, R, web frameworks, and Cloud Services (AWS). As a Senior Software Engineer, in the Emergency Department Insights team, your daily responsibilities will revolve around leading the development of healthcare analytics products. Day-to-day tasks include designing and maintaining ETL processes for data transformation, managing data pipelines and databases, and creating data visualizations and dashboards. Additionally, you will implement statistical and machine learning algorithms, staying abreast of tech trends, and mentoring junior team members. If you are comfortable with relational databases, proficient in Python, R, or equivalent languages, and have a solid grasp of web frameworks, this role offers the opportunity to drive innovation in healthcare analytics and contribute to the enhancement of patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Software Engineer at Huron, you will lead the development of healthcare analytics products. Your role involves designing efficient ETL processes, optimizing data pipelines, and ensuring seamless technology integration within a small, focused team comprised of PHDs, Engineers, Product Managers and Consultants.
Collaborating closely with this cross functional team, you will drive innovation and explore advancements to stay at the forefront of technology offerings. Your strategic contributions extend to optimizing development workflows and guiding decisions to enhance overall efficiency both in the team and at client organizations.
Measuring the impact of analytics products, you will utilize appropriate tools to showcase value in patient outcomes and client organizational objectives. In summary, your role is instrumental in the strategic development, optimization, and impactful decision-making within the realm of healthcare analytics at Huron.
Qualifications
Required:
U.S. work authorization is required.
Bachelor's of Science degree with a focus in Computer Science or relatable field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, demonstrating expertise in leading the development of analytics products or similar.
Proficiency in relational database concepts, with a pref
