About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Systems Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in embedded systems development, microcontroller programming, and communication protocols. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions for our hardware platforms.

What you will bring to the role:

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for microcontroller-based systems using C/C++, FreeRTOS, and AzureRTOS.
• Implement and troubleshoot communication protocols such as RS-232, RS-485, USB, CAN, UART, I2C, SPI, etc.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with electronic components.
• Develop and maintain build systems using CMake.
• Utilize Azure DevOps and Git for version control, CI/CD, and project tracking.
• Contribute to system architecture and design discussions.
• Perform debugging, testing, and validation of embedded systems.
• Document software designs, code, and development processes.
