SUMMARY:
Responsible for the strategic development and tactical execution of variable pricing and lost equipment fees. Supports Sales leaders with analytics and customer communications to drive profitable growth. Liaison with internal and external teams for related processes, communication, reporting within the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key activities:
• Build relationships with internal and external customers at all levels.
• Key liaison between Customer Operations and all IFCO departments to gather appropriate information to make invoicing decisions, ensure contracts are updated, escalate invoice resolutions, track, and resolve variable pricing and asset control invoices.
• Communication with customers and sales regarding reporting, compliance to rental terms, reporting automation options, and customer status updates.
• Support commercial team in the explanation and resolution of invoices and negotiation of monetary settlement amounts.
• Invoice customers for lost assets/extended hire.
• Evaluate collection processes and collaborate with sales account managers, VPs of Asset Management, and Sales to execute.
• Liaison with legal counsel for resolution of unpaid invoices.
• Strategically looks for ways to improve and streamline both Extended Hire and Loss Asset programs.
Reporting:
• Prepare and perform presentations, KPI metrics, systems, and action plans.
• Key project lead for all future invoicing process development and implementation (including system developments and enhancement testing)
• Build models to target key areas of risk for invoicing (LEC log/extended hire database)
• Weekly/monthly tracking reports
• Ad hoc reporting/analysis as required often on a time-sensitive basis.
Team Support:
• Review the reconciliations completed by the analysts related to customer accounts.
• Oversee workflow of all invoice processing including preparation of reports, charts, and other statistics to support and direct the sales department.
• Regularly review and update CRM to ensure customer information is accurate.
• Actively look for habitual offenders and assist the Customer Operation team on action plans to correct behavior
• Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 4 years of customer service or accounting experience is required.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in financial analysis preferred
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
• SAP & Salesforce experience helpful.
• Ability to handle and resolve more complex customer requests or complaints.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and constraints
• Understanding of variable style pricing.
• Willingness to support other team members in addition to normal responsibilities
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, flexibility, and resourcefulness
