About the role
Our partner is seeking a Senior Recruiter in Pacific, MO to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in talent acquisition, overseeing a team of recruiters, and ensuring the organization's mission and values are upheld.
Responsibilities:
- Directly manage Level I and Level II Recruiters, Recruiting Coordinator, and Recruiting Assistants, including hiring, firing, performance management, and work assignments.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in full-cycle/high-volume recruiting practices, including sourcing, interviewing, legal compliance, candidate experience, selection, and pre-employment screenings.
- Successfully handle a large workload of 30+ nationwide open positions simultaneously and lead a team with a similar workload.
- Proactively and consistently meet established fill times and selection expectations, demonstrating a metrics-driven approach.
- Expertly source candidates and build pipelines across the nation using various channels, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referral programs, networking, and social media.
- Build strong relationships with operational leaders and hiring managers to understand and meet their staffing needs.
- Manage and maintain the recruitment database, with a focus on aging reports, team production, and candidate pools.
- Negotiate offers and close negotiations for hiring managers.
- Understand and align with HR and Recruitment division scorecards to meet performance goals.
- Lead meetings with key business leaders to improve and scale recruitment operations and results.
- Leverage and maintain data reports to ensure performance metrics are achieved.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of high-volume/full-cycle recruiting experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a management and/or supervisor role within a talent acquisition role.
- Experience in recruiting within the construction industry is advantageous but not required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to travel up to 10% nationwide.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong commitment to safety, in line with the organization's expectations.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present to diverse audiences.
- Forward-thinking with a strategic approach to align results with business objectives.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of leading a team of Assistants and Recruiters.

- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to achieve department goals and metrics.
- Organized, problem-solving, and solution-oriented.
- Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and experience with Salesforce and/or Sage People is a plus.
