Michael Baker International is adding an experienced Senior Recruiter to our growing Talent Acquisition team! This is a fully remote client facing role on a collaborative, fast-paced and hardworking recruiting team that will support the recruitment efforts for a variety of US geographies, practices, and role types/levels.

What We’re Looking For:

An experienced, versatile Senior Recruiter who is well networked throughout the industry and possesses a strong track record of attracting and recruiting niche, specialized talent for a variety of exciting civil engineering opportunities and projects. You’re a strategic thinker with excellent communication, proactive follow-up, and a strong sense of urgency, and you effortlessly build trust and rapport with your hiring managers and candidates through the work and partnerships that you deliver. You proactively advise your hiring managers and colleagues on impactful market trends, and you understand how to leverage talent insights to shape your sourcing and candidate attraction strategies to yield successful hiring outcomes. 

What You’ll Do:

• Perform hands on, full life cycle recruitment for a variety of entry to senior level specialized, professional civil engineering roles 
• Develop and implement effective and competitive recruitment strategies to attract top talent for niche roles
• Partner with hiring managers to conduct thoughtful and informative req intake sessions regularly
• Source and screen candidates to assess their qualifications and fit, and present qualified slates to hiring managers for consideration
• Develop and grow candidate pipelines, and ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
• Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms to identify, engage and nurture prospective candidates
• Stay current and informed on industry trends and on cutting edge talent acquisition tools and strategies
• Provide regular updates on recruitment activities and progress to leadership

What You Need to Succeed:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field
• A minimum of 7 years’ relevant full life cycle experience with competitively attracting and recruiting civil professionals at all levels 
• A strong understanding of civil engineering profiles, specialties, and the ability to identify key skills and qualifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
• Advanced proficiency with various recruitment tools and platforms
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently, and to collaborate as part of a team
• Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

Compensation:

The approximate compensation range for this position is $100,000- $120,000 per year. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
