Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a remote position.

Summary of The Role

• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities. 
  
• ​Manage and execute manual test case, define test scenarios and plan test executions.
  
• Escalate product issues and suggest product improvements, placing the customer’s needs ahead of all others. 
  
• Create and maintain detailed automated test cases and configure and maintain automation scripts. 
  
• Working on Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA). 
  
• Investigate and design/build solutions for any potential quality weak spots in our products / development workflow.      
  
• Actively ensure testing standards are being upheld and that test case specifications cover risk areas. 
  
• Creating Quality Tools (i.e. Process Maps, Control Plans, Checklists etc). 
  
• Achieve agreed productivity targets to ensure development tasks are delivered within budget and to schedule. 
  
• Issue Quality Assurance reports
  

Requirements

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience 

• Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent.
  
• Minimum 4 - 5 years of experience. 
  
• ISTQB Certification is a plus.
  
• Experience in SaaS testing
• Proficiency in JIRA. 
  
• Exposure to API testing, perform load testing and stress testing
  
• Understanding of quality principles, tools and techniques including testing concepts, methodologies and processes. 
  
• Experience in manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications. 
  
• Good exposure in Defect management. 
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
