Optum Store (https://store.optum.com) is part of Optum’s new Direct-to-Consumer group which sits at the intersection of health care and retail, curating product offerings through a virtual marketplace that provides consumers with more affordable access to care. To build those products, we are looking for a strong engineer who embodies our team values of Always be shipping, Outcome Obsession, Constant Vigilance (against threats and downtime), Simplification (of our technology landscape), and Software as a Team Sport.  In this role, you will interact with multiple stakeholders and deal with significant complexity and ambiguity.

What You’ll Do

• Design, write, execute, and maintain tests for APIs, platform and UI software.
• Assess the current set of automation tools and framework and then make recommendations on our automation strategy.
• Execute all components of product testing such as functional, regression and end-to-end testing.
• Make recommendations to improve product reliability, performance, and quality 
• Investigate and evaluate new testing technologies and products.
• Integrate and maintain automated tests as part of a CI pipeline (CircleCi).
• Work collaboratively with product stakeholders to identify bugs, process improvements and facilitate requirement gathering.

What We’re Looking For

• We are looking for QA Engineers interested in defining, enacting, and enforcing best practices for software quality throughout our technology stack. 
• 4+ years of experience in software development life cycle, debugging and testing production code.
• Experience with manual front-end testing
• Understanding of QA and automation tools such as Postman, Shell scripts, Selenium, Cypress or similar UI test frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Continuous Integration.
• Strong understanding of QA concepts and proven abilities in the following areas: software testing, test case writing, and automated script development.
• Strong communication skills

Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.

• Starting Salary: $82,100 - $146,500

W
