About the role

US Family Health Plan is a Department of Defense-sponsored health plan for uniformed services members, retirees and their family members. Responsible for managing the following types of projects:

  • Medium to high level complexity
  • Increasing levels of criticality
  • Medium to large sized projects (1,000+ effort hours)
  • Internal application, system, implementation, process, technical, and other corporate level projects

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Or Equivalent relevant work experience in IT or a healthcare related field.
  • 2 years of successful project management experience
  • 1 year of experience in healthcare information technology.
  • MS Project experience required.
  • Experience leading/managing project planning activities (WBS development, scope, schedule, budget, resource acquisition).
  • 1 year of experience leading/facilitating all types of project meetings, including pre/post meeting activities.
  • Experience leading collaborative, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Upon hire: Project Management certification, or commitment to obtain certification 
  • Project management experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
