Your role at Clorox:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of a strategic project (Enterprise, Functional, or Business Unit), from planning and initiating to execution and closure, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and according to defined requirements. You will be responsible for coordinating teams, managing resources, mitigating risks, and maintaining communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

A key responsibility for this role is delivering strong project execution and ensuring alignment to defined strategies.

In this role, you will:

  • Define the project scope, set goals, create detailed project plans, establish timelines, and allocate resources. 60%
  • Coordinate project teams, assign tasks, and ensure accountability.
  • Develop and monitor project budgets and escalate variances.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Track progress and address deviations.
  • Maintain communication with stakeholders and provide updates.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet requirements.
  • Resolve project challenges efficiently.
  • Provide strategic alignment support: 20%
  • Partner with sponsors and stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into executable plans, provide input and recommendations, and ensure alignment to business objectives (growth, innovation, cost savings). This role supports but does not lead strategy development.
  • Lead community of practice and external perspective: 20%
  • Sense and explore external benchmarks, capabilities, trends, best practices, digital/AI applications and competitive intelligence for incorporation into the Project Management CoP. 

What we look for:

  • BS/BA Degree
  • 7-10 years of progressive project management experience spanning multiple project types (including Innovation, Cost Savings, Operations, and Strategic)  with increasing responsibility, scope and complexity and a demonstrated track record of success.
  • Must have a background with Supply Chain, Operations, and/or Consumer Packaged Goods.
  • Skilled in both Waterfall and Agile project approaches.
  • Able to identify and develop strategic and tactical options for project execution. 
  • Collaborate and influence others ranging from peers, cross-functional stakeholders or senior executives to accomplish team objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to draw conclusions from complex data and information.
  • Ability to simplify and communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms to all stakeholders
  • Excellent understanding of business financials and ability to articulate financial impacts to supply chain choices and risks
  • Flexibility manifesting in ability to manage and prioritize planned and unplanned work
  • Drive and commitment to deliver complex projects and initiatives on time, on budget, and with solutions that meet and exceed business requirements
  • Deep knowledge of end-to-end business and supply chain interdependencies
  • Curiosity that manifests in ongoing development and learning about external environment

Workplace type:

Hybrid: This role will work 3 days onsite and 2 days remotely.
