Job Summary

The Project Manager, Senior supports the Chief of Staff to the CHRO by coordinating key projects, maintaining operational workflows, and providing operational insights that inform decision making within the Office of the CHRO and broadly with the HR senior leadership team. This role blends project coordination, executive-level communication, and operational organization to ensure the Chief of Staff and CHRO have accurate, timely information and materials.

The role manages high-visibility events and long-and short-term projects within the office of the CHRO and broadly across HR, facilitates communication between senior level stakeholders and monitors progress on HR goals. The Senior Project Manager prepares executive-ready presentations, drafts communications for senior HR leaders and ensures smooth execution of department-level operations.


 

Qualifications

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Execution

  • Coordinate and manage projects assigned by the Chief of Staff, supporting initiatives related to HR operations and department priorities.
  • Develop project plans, track progress, escalate barriers, and maintain documentation.
  • Facilitate meetings and prepare materials for project-related workstreams.
  • Maintain project artifacts, schedules, and communication tools.

Executive Operations & Governance Support

  • Manage PST governance processes: agenda collection, pre-reads, minutes, distribution, and materials tracking.
  • Maintain org charts, leader lists, and distribution lists for the Chief of Staff.
  • Coordinate logistics and materials for HR leadership meetings, onsite sessions, and other departmental events.
  • Support communication requests such as monthly promotion emails or leader updates.

Executive Communications & Presentation Development

  • Develop polished, executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, briefing materials, and written summaries.
  • Convert complex project, financial, or operational information into clear, concise insights for the Chief of Staff.
  • Prepare briefing notes and talking points for executive meetings.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Partner with the HR SVPs and other leaders as directed by the Chief of Staff.
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and timeliness of materials flowing into the CHRO Office.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field).
  • Master’s Degree preferred.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in project coordination, operations or similar roles.
  • Human Resources experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience preparing materials for senior leaders required.
  • Experience handling operational data required.
  • Prior experience in a large, complex organization beneficial.
  • People leadership experience (formal or informal) preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
  • Ability to understand, summarize, and explain operational data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and shifting needs.
  • Strong judgment, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Ability to build effective relationships across HR and administrative partners.
