I. Job Summary
Maintains pre-established standards for health, safety and environmental requirements for multiple project customers. Plans and directs all onsite activities for multiple assigned customers at their project locations. Manages data and information needs or requests from customers or partners. Supports IWP engineering, business development and financial partners needs and requests. Assists in maintaining proactive customer communication and day-to-day relationships. Ensures revenue invoicing and project expenses are accurately documented and communicated. Consistently manages direct reports in a proactive way to adjust to changes within processes and customer needs and expectations.
Responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of capital purchases and capital improvement programs within the Heavy Equipment and Landfill segments of the business. This includes developing equipment strategies, managing procurement activities, and ensuring assets align with operational goals and long term business plans.
This position serves as a key partner to internal field operations, providing strategic support, technical guidance, and timely solutions to meet equipment and infrastructure needs. The role also leads cross functional collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Engineering teams to drive alignment, optimize processes, and ensure successful execution of capital projects.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Leads comprehensive evaluations of equipment requirements across the Heavy Equipment and Landfill segments, ensuring alignment with operational needs, lifecycle expectations, and capital planning strategies. Builds and manages high value vendor relationships, negotiating competitive contract terms, service agreements, and performance standards to optimize cost, reliability, and long term value.
Oversees month over month financial reporting and performance analysis, delivering clear insights into budget adherence, cost drivers, and asset utilization trends. Develops annual forecasts for capital and operating requirements, ensuring accuracy and proactive financial planning that aligns with corporate goals and business cycles.
Monitors and validates program performance through robust tracking of initiatives, KPIs, and commodity indices, identifying market risks, supply chain volatility, and cost exposure areas. Evaluates and recommends cost effective programs, supplier opportunities, and strategic sourcing approaches that protect the company against price fluctuation and operational disruptions.
Ensures strict compliance with SOX controls, government regulations, and internal policies and procedures by conducting required inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. Promotes and reinforces a culture of safety and regulatory excellence by ensuring personnel are properly trained and aligned with all customer, company, environmental, federal, state, and local safety requirements.
Conducts supplier audits to verify adherence to best practices, quality standards, and contractual obligations, including thorough reviews of invoicing structures, supporting documentation, and pricing files.
