Senior Project Manager

The Senior Business Project Manager leads strategic, cross-functional business initiatives across the organization, driving projects and process improvements that support operational, finance, HR, and other business objectives. This role focuses on delivering measurable results, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, and improving business processes in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Efficiently, risks are mitigated, and stakeholders are engaged throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads and manages the end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
• Executes project management and/or continuous improvement projects by applying PM methodologies to support waterfall and agile
• Coordinates and collaborates with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines
•  Identifies and mitigates project risks, issues, and dependencies, and proactively implement solutions to address challenges
• Communicates project status, progress, and updates to stakeholders, including senior management, team members, and external partners
• Manages project resources, including personnel, and external vendors, to optimize efficiency and productivity
• Conducts regular project meetings, facilitate discussions, and drive decision-making to keep projects on track
• Ensures compliance with project management and continuous improvement best practices, methodologies, and standards
• Fosters a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

Required Education & Experience:

• 5+ years of progressive experience managing complex projects, ideally within a tax, mortgage, financial services, or real estate environment.
• Experience working at a large consulting firm preferred, with an understanding of large-scale project management methodologies and corporate process improvement frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, or Root Cause Analysis.
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Business or related field required

 

Preferred Education & Experience

• MBA preferred
• Project management certification (PMP, etc.) highly preferred
• LSS Green or Black Belt certification highly preferred
• Scrum/Agile certification highly preferred

 

Salary Range: $118,200 - $155,000
