The Boeing Company’s Human Resource’s organization is currently seeking a Senior Project Management Specialist to join our team in Huntsville, AL.

This role will play a critical role in ensuring project success through effective planning, communication, and collaboration across functional teams. This position will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing project and program plans to achieve business objectives while ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities, and strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight for project delivery, ensuring alignment to organizational goals, timely execution, and effective resource allocation

• Develop project plans and timelines, monitor metrics, track change activity, and communicate updates throughout the project lifecycle

• Track success metrics to evaluate project effectiveness and drive improvements 

• Understand overall landscape of projects and the site to identify synergies and opportunities to partner with other leaders

• Engage with the community and universities for branding and building pipelines  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of experience in project management

• 5+ years of experience utilizing project management tools and methods

• 5+ years of experience developing project plans for completion of work scope between multiple customers and resources

• 5+ years of experience working on cross-functional projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent

• Experience working in an inclusive business environment or with cross-functional teams

Summary pay range: $132,600 – $195,000
