Position Description 
Redhorse Corporation has an opening for a Senior Project Leader Business Administration on a task with the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE). The ideal candidate will provide business and administration assistance to senior management with prioritizing critical issues and required information to facilitate efficient decision making.

Position requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Provide assistance to senior management with oversight and guidance to projects of high importance.
  • Assist senior management in areas of project budgets and resource allocation.
  • Provide briefing and presentation support to the Director, Deputy Director, and senior staff (as assigned) during Congressional and national industry organization briefing preparations.
  • Assist with business and administrative programmatic presentations and budget briefings in conjunction with the Congressional budget cycle, including but not limited to: internal budget briefings and Congressional staff budget review briefings.
  • Analyze and interpret EERE and White House DEI guidance and give guidance on how to implement
  • Experience in development communications strategy around diversity and inclusion goals
  • Conduct analyses on subject matter as assigned to identify additional information
  • Provide a broad spectrum of planning, budgeting, performance management, reporting, communications, tools, and business management services and support
  • Support capabilities to productively comply with existing and new DOE, Congressional and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) mandates and other policies and mandates.
  • Conduct and support business- and financial management-related analyses and communications activities (i.e., dashboard, topical and presentations).
  • Identify problems and opportunities and bring ideas to the table for innovation and efficient management in the assigned tasks.
  • Develop presentations of topical, complex, or technical information in a logical, understandable and persuasive manner.
  • Initiate and support quality improvements in systems, services, or work processes.
  • Develop program management and integration tools to facilitate interoffice communications and portfolio management.
  • Provide integrated technical, data, communications, and other assistance as well as develop background information, situation analyses, and impact assessments, including but not limited to: maintaining an ongoing library of project fact sheets; developing web-based fact sheets; providing meeting planning, coordination and facilitation support; coordinating meeting and travel calendars; providing technical, economic, environmental and policy analysis of issues; assisting with strategic planning activities, including multi-year planning meetings, editing and review of documents, war room planning, and development of background information.
  • Monitor and (assist in development of): project plans, project related-calendars, project tasks plans, budgets, and other resource allocations to accomplish tasks.
  • Perform project tasks independently and may assist with the coordination of workload assignments.
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects at the same time.
  • Work cross-functionally to assist with resolving problems and implementing changes.

Requirements for Experience, Skills, Education and Credentials include:

  • Master’s Degree is preferred in a related discipline that provides the functional skills to perform the functions and responsibilities described or six years of experience may be substituted for master’s degree requirement.  
  • Eight (8) years of relevant experience.
