Job Description
The SiC Process Program Manager will be responsible for the process development and execution of a program to develop and commercialize silicon carbide (SiC) power devices. This role will require a strong understanding of SiC process development, as well as experience in strategic planning and business negotations from risk mitigation perspective. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a proven track record of success in delivering complex programs. This position is in DDT(Device Development Technology Group) in OED.
Requirements:
It will require the candidate to have knowledge of following skills.
- Device technology: At least 7years device process design/ electrical characterization experience in SiC, and preferably Si-power FET technologies for power applications
- Program management: At least 3years experience of program manager working with relevant departments such as design, marketing, internal/external fabs, QA, assembly, PDK and Test to facilitate project progress
- Communication: Good written and oral communication in English and documentation skills
- Desired locations: Austin Texas, Phoenix Arizona, Raleigh North Carolina, Palm Bay Florida
- Travel Requirements: Within US and some overseas: 10%
Besides the above skills, the preferred candidate will also be adept
- Comprehensive knowledge: Device physics, Modeling, PDK, Assembly, Test in SiC
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards: AEC Q101, AQG324 etc.
- Competitor knowledge: Extensive knowledge of competitors in SiC
- Communication: Oral communication in Japanese
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the program plan for the development of SiC power process
- Drive program to meet all technical and business objectives
- Manage the program schedule to meet critical milestones and customer commitments
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (Internal and External)
- Identify key risks to the program and define mitigation actions to address the risks.
- Track and report on program progress to stake holders
Qualifications
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Solid State Physics, or Material science and engineering
- Device technology: At least 7years device process design/ electrical characterization experience in SiC, and preferably Si-power FET technologies for power applications
- Program management: At least 3years experience of program manager working with relevant departments such as design, marketing, internal/external fabs, QA, assembly, PDK and Test to facilitate project progress
Additional Information
The expected annual pay range for this position is $155,000 - $232,000. This position is also eligible for STI bonus opportunities and commission pay. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
