Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as the Senior Program Manager for the Korea Patriot Program. In this position you will lead the overall program execution of multiple contracts as well as be responsible for the overall business growth of the Korea Patriot Program.
You will be working closely with, and influence the Patriot Product Line, functional team members, and other program office teammates. You will assist with providing tactical direction for program execution and maintain program cadence to ensure contract and company requirements, deliverables, and reporting are met using the approved business model and management tools. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable program-level experience and exposure for candidates seeking to grow their career in Program Management.
In addition to the internal responsibilities, you will also interface with the customer for various topics to include but not limited to Technical Interchange Meetings, Executive Program Reviews, customer working groups, hardware and services acceptance events, meetings with key industrial partners, and business growth discussions. In addition, you will be supporting future business growth initiatives by leading FMS and DCS proposal captures in support of the INDOPACOM Region Patriot portfolio.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for overall program execution, will work with internal company partners to shape program scope and requirements, support and lead capture activities including proposals, win strategies, cost estimating approach and analysis, and associated leadership reviews
- Daily interface with customers and internal executive leadership in communicating financial status, operations status, issues, and opportunities
- Ensure risk / opportunity management plans are comprehensive and executed to meet program and business commitments
- Execution of the annual and 5-year business plan to meet commitments to Raytheon
- Coordinate program reviews, meetings, internal handoffs and customer deliveries
- Collaborate across all IPTs and CPTs and establish working relationships with functional team members in contracts, finance, planning, engineering, supply chain, quality, digital technologies, and in-country teams
- Identify and implement key program metrics and drive corrective actions as required
- Expected to support domestic and/or international travel as needed
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and minimum 7 years of experience is required
- Experience with financial analysis tools and project management tools and/or systems
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to include, but not limited to, any combination of the following: Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, Logistics, Data Management (CDRL support) and/or administrative functions
- Experience supporting cost proposals and/or gate packages
Qualifications We Prefer
- International program execution experience, Direct Commercial Sales experience is a plus
- Understanding of various contract types including domestic, FMS, Cost-Plus, FFP & FPIF, and how to execute within a mixed Program
- Experience developing and reviewing cost proposals and synthesizing Proposal Review and Contract Start-up packages for management review and approval
- Working knowledge of contract formation, execution, and management
- Program Management Certified Level 4 or Equivalent, or ability to obtain within 12 months
