WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are seeking a Sr. Product Operations Manager to join our Product Program Management team and help Braze build a best-in-class product through operational excellence. You will be responsible for driving greater efficiency and effectiveness across the product management team by designing and implementing the infrastructure, processes, and tools that enable PMs to focus on strategy, business impact, and execution at scale. This role will build on the existing product operations foundation, but you’ll have the opportunity to define the Product Operations roadmap.
Key job responsibilities:
-
Optimize Product Management Processes
- Partner with PM leadership to drive improvement of our existing planning framework
- Provide support to help PMs align strategy, priorities, and cross-team dependencies by standardizing operating models, PRDs, and artifacts across the department
- Conduct regular assessments of existing product processes (e.g., product feedback notes and asks from GTM teams) to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable improvements.
Streamline Product Development Process
- Refine product development workflows to improve efficiency and collaboration between product, design and engineering from discovery through delivery.
- Enhance Early Access and Beta release processes by automating customer intake and feature provisioning, and manage communication protocols for critical product updates
Enable Data-Driven Decision Making for PMs
- Partner with Product Management leadership and Product Analytics to coordinate building data infrastructure, reporting, and insights that help PMs and leadership make informed, data-driven decisions tied to business outcomes.
WHO YOU ARE
- 5+ years of experience in Product Operations, Product Management, or a related role in B2B SaaS
- Experienced in building scalable processes, tools, and frameworks to improve efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness across a PM organization
- Analytical and pragmatic thinker, able to translate complex data into actionable insights, know when to implement new processes, and when to keep workflows lightweight
- Excellent at executing complex and large-scale change management — working with multiple stakeholders (Product, Design, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, etc.), aligning teams, and ensuring initiatives are delivered seamlessly from planning to rollout
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, prioritizing initiatives, driving measurable impact, and influencing outcomes without direct authority.
- Sense of urgency and commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on experience with product management tools (e.g., Productboard, Looker, Amplitude, Linear, Glean, and other best-in-class product management products)
For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $135,000 and $155,000/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $155,000 and $195,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
