Senior Principal Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to exciting projects.

Duties

• Participate as a critical member of a cross-functional engineering project team.
• Communicate directly or indirectly with customers in person or remotely to clarify requirements and concerns, and provide project status updates.
• Review or create requirements for embedded system architecture, identify critical components and circuit design.
• Prepare detailed schematics and supporting documentation required for high volume manufacturing.
• Participate in internal and external design reviews.
• Independently perform board bring up, evaluation of prototype and first article printed circuit assemblies.
• Develop, execute, and document test plans and results.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience is required.
• U.S citizen is required due to being clearable for a Secret Clearance.
• Secret Clearance is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with RF System Design and PCB Design is required.
• Understanding of design, development, and release process of high-volume electronic products.
• Hardware design experience with embedded digital and analog circuits.
• Prior experience in Navy or DoD engineering is highly preferred.
• PCB layout experience with Switch Mode Power Supplies and USB 3.2 High-Speed Differential Signals.
• Experience with MATLAB programming is a plus.
