Position Summary
Lead the future of GI endoscope reprocessing! In this role, you’ll design and execute innovative strategies while training a high-performing professional services team to deliver best-in-class practices for flexible endoscopes and similar devices requiring high-level disinfection.
As a trusted subject matter expert, you’ll develop evidence-based standard work that ensures exceptional customer outcomes and compliance with industry standards. You’ll also drive thought leadership through a publication strategy that accelerates adoption of our cutting-edge reprocessing solutions.
Beyond consultancy leadership, you’ll collaborate closely with Product Development to enhance processes for decontamination, disinfection, sterilization, drying, and storage. You’ll strengthen the processes with advanced methodologies to evaluate product design impact, mitigate risks, and optimize performance. Additionally, you’ll support OEM partnerships to create a seamless ecosystem for product design and reprocessing success.
What You Will Do as a Senior Principal Consultant:
- Develop and maintain a consulting playbook to optimize quality in endoscope reprocessing environments.
- Lead, train, and mentor the clinical specialist team to ensure best practices and expertise.
- Interpret and communicate U.S. and global standards to internal stakeholders, including product development and marketing teams.
- Drive thought leadership through publishing white papers, case studies, and presenting at industry conferences.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development to define robust product requirements and support new product development (NPD) processes.
- Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) research for new endoscopy products and services.
- Review post-market data to inform and enhance future product design and human factors success.
- Develop and deliver training curriculum for scientific and engineering teams to align development with real-world challenges.
- Engage with OEM partners and participate in AAMI committees to advance reprocessing standards and ecosystem success.
The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in research and reprocessing.
- Proven record of publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience collaborating with Marketing and R&D to define standards, product requirements, and launch strategies.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams.
- Skilled in developing and delivering training programs for technical audiences.
- Ability to influence internal stakeholders across product development, marketing, and clinical education.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting at industry conferences and engaging with external stakeholders such as OEMs and regulatory bodies.
Preferred:
- Master's degree preferred.
- Experience in clinical consulting, medical device development, or healthcare quality improvement, with a focus on endoscopy or reprocessing environments.
Pay range for this opportunity is $141,737.50 - $183,425.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
