Armis is looking for a new Senior People Business Partner to join the People Team!
Reporting directly to the Director, People Business Partnering, this role is a critical member of the People Team. You will act as the primary HR partner for your designated client groups, driving the disciplined execution of People strategies and initiatives.
This role will primarily be supporting the Marketing, G&A, and Customer Success departments.
What you will do…
Strategic Support & Initiative Execution
- Work closely with client group managers and individual contributors to support business goals by translating organizational objectives into tangible, executable HR initiatives.
- Provide input on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and change management efforts to the Director.
- Champion the implementation of disciplined HR best practices across client groups.
Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers.
- Mediate and provide resolution, fostering a positive work environment.
Talent Management
- Partner with managers to identify talent needs and support the development and retention of employees.
- Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development.
Organizational Development
- Partner with managers to identify team effectiveness opportunities and champion the implementation of approved solutions.
- Drive the execution of change management plans, ensuring clear communication and employee adoption.
HR Policies and Compliance
- Ensure that HR policies and practices are consistent with legal requirements and align with organizational values.

Data Analysis and Reporting
- Utilize HR metrics and data analysis to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
- Prepare and analyze reports on HR key performance indicators.
Collaboration and Communication
- Serve as the primary HR contact for managers and individual contributors in the Marketing, G&A, and Customer Success departments.
- Collaborate with other HR functions, such as Talent Acquisition.
Compensation and Benefits
- Participate in annual salary review processes to determine salary adjustments and bonuses.
- Ensure that the organization's compensation practices comply with legal requirements and industry standards.
- Provide training and support to managers on compensation-related topics.
Job Evaluation and Grading
- Collaborate with hiring managers to evaluate new and existing roles, ensuring job descriptions accurately reflect responsibilities and qualifications.

What we expect…
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent, relevant, professional work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in an HR Business Partner role, with at least 5 years operating as a dedicated HRBP.
- Strong ability to navigate HR practices, employment law, and industry trends in the Americas (US, Canada, Mexico and Costa Rica)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to work autonomously while keeping leadership informed and escalating issues appropriately.
- Ability to build credibility and strong working relationships with managers, mid-level leaders, and individual contributors.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive HR decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and champion HR projects from concept to completion, ensuring follow-through and disciplined execution.
