Provides assistance and support to the legal department in its contracting efforts with responsibilities in drafting, review, revising, contract management and signature processing.
Works independently with internal clients to interpret contracting policies and procedures.
Proficient in navigating various contract management systems and processes and vigilant in keeping contract status up to date.
Utilizes and maintains contracting templates.
Supports multiple legal department members involved in contracting efforts.
Ability to review contractual documents to answer non-complex legal questions and provide summaries of contractual terms.
Ensures contracting compliance with Seattle Children's policies, procedures, and practices.
Cross coverage with other legal department functions.
Performs role both remotely and on-site based on legal department needs.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least five (5) years experience in reviewing, drafting, and managing contracts.
Required Credentials
N/A.
Preferred
Paralegal certification from ABA-approved paralegal program preferred.
In-house experience.
Familiarity with hospital or health system operations and related contracting.
Experience in reviewing and managing facilities, real estate and construction contracts.
Compensation Range
$78,735.00 - $118,103.00 per yearSalary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
