Senior Paralegal, Contracting

• Provides assistance and support to the legal department in its contracting efforts with responsibilities in drafting, review, revising, contract management and signature processing.

• Works independently with internal clients to interpret contracting policies and procedures.

• Proficient in navigating various contract management systems and processes and vigilant in keeping contract status up to date.

• Utilizes and maintains contracting templates.

• Supports multiple legal department members involved in contracting efforts.

• Ability to review contractual documents to answer non-complex legal questions and provide summaries of contractual terms.

• Ensures contracting compliance with Seattle Children's policies, procedures, and practices.

• Cross coverage with other legal department functions.

Performs role both remotely and on-site based on legal department needs.

  

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelors Degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least five (5) years experience in reviewing, drafting, and managing contracts.

Required Credentials

• N/A.

Preferred

• Paralegal certification from ABA-approved paralegal program preferred.

• In-house experience.

• Familiarity with hospital or health system operations and related contracting.

• Experience in reviewing and managing facilities, real estate and construction contracts.

Compensation Range

$78,735.00 - $118,103.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
