Job Title: FLRAA Stress Lead
Working Pattern: Hybrid/Onsite 3 days/week
Working location: Indianapolis, IN
As a Stress Lead on the FLRAA team, you will provide a significant depth of expertise and leadership for stress and dynamics analysis across the FLRAA engine components. This expertise will be utilized in support of component design changes and component verification activity. You will lead the FLRAA Stress Team, guiding methods, priorities, audit & oversight, and meeting of program requirements. Will also present directly to customer, regarding analysis requirements, methods, and results.
The Stress Tech Lead will also be a focal point for mentoring the design team and consulting with the wider program team on stress and dynamics related technical issues. This role will remain engaged with the ET&S Engineering team by mentoring junior analysts, serving as a SLARP/DTARP auditor across programs, and advancing the structural analyst skillset.

What you will be doing:
- Strategy: Supports the development and execution of the strategy with respect to their area of specialism; is regarded as a thought leader.
- Project Definition: Leads the definition of capability projects including capturing requirements, creating proposals, achieving stakeholder approval, acquiring funding and aligning partner support.

- Standards Definition: Ensures appropriate policies, standards and best practices are defined, shared and adopted
- Knowledge Sharing: Leads the sharing of Best Practice; represents the area as an authority in their defined subject; provides concise justification for decisions; records and captures salient information in reports and systems

Basic Requirements:
- An Associate’s Degree in Engineering with seven years of Stress Analysis experience OR
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with five years of Stress Analysis experience OR
- A Master’s Degree in Engineering with three years of Stress Analysis experience OR
- JD/Ph.D.
- Understanding of Intellectual Property and Export Control requirements
